In this imaginative and hands-on 2.5-hour workshop, young artists aged 9 to 17 will explore the beauty of landscapes and seascapes through mixed media techniques. This session encourages creative thinking, experimentation, and personal expression while developing an understanding of composition, texture, colour and layering. What to expect: 🎨 Explore a variety of artists and their use of media, texture, and colour 🌊 Study landscape and seascape images, focusing on values, layers, and mood 🖼️ Plan a composition and sketch layers onto canvas 🖌️ Create artworks using a mix of techniques like: • Printmaking • Watercolour & Acrylic • Collage & Drawing • Textiles & Fabric Elements Students will build their work step-by-step—from background sky to mid-ground, foreground, and finally adding details, depending on their pace. This is a vibrant, exploratory workshop ideal for young creatives who enjoy working with different materials and want to push the boundaries of traditional art. All materials provided. Limited places available – early booking advised as there are only 4 spaces! The workshop will take place in my home studio in Hazel Avenue, Evesham.
